Static Pass Box

Pass box is one of the clean room systems, which is used to transfer materials from one side to other side through controlled environment in order to avoid airborne cross contamination. As the name states itself, the primary and only work of a pass box is to pass material from one side to other without raising contamination concern and if any particulate matter presents on the material surface, it swipes away during the operation. Interlocking door mechanism is the prime feature of a pass box, when door at one side is open the door at other side remains closed. It is popular with other names such as clean room pass through, clean transfer window and transfer hatch; in addition, it is widely used in microbiology laboratories in food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Specifications

Dynamic Pass Box

A dynamic pass box is a cubicle box which has got interlocked doors located on both sides. This protects the controlled environment from being polluted while the transfer of  material is taking place inside. Pass box is used to transfer the material from lower cleanliness area to higher cleanliness area or vice-versa in the classified area and also known as the hatch. Pass box works as a barrier between two cleanliness level areas. Static pass boxes are used to transfer materials between two rooms of equal cleanliness levels and are designed for minimal  personnel movement while  dynamic pass boxes are used to transfer materials from uncontrolled to controlled  environments. Dynamic pass box  works like an airlock or laminar air flow unit.

Vertical Laminar Air Flow Unit (VLAF)

Laminar airflow (VLAF) refers to the flow within an air distribution system that follows the principle of laminar flow of air. When gas molecules travel in straight, parallel layers without intersecting or mixing with each other, laminar conditions are formed. In an enclosed space, the uniformity in
velocity and direction due to laminar airflow provides the opportunity for creating an efficient circulation system.
The circulation of the filtered air within a system is key to keeping a clean and contamination-free environment. 

Specifications

  • Hepa Filter: Imported mini pleate HEPA Filter with hot melt technology, which conforms to EU-14 Grade at supply position with an efficiency rating better than 99.999% for 0.3 micron.
  • PRE-Filter: Pre –filter are made from non are made from non-woven synthetic with HDPE mesh, conforming to EU6 grade, with an efficiency rating better than 95% down to 5 microns.
